Defending Democracy: The Telethon
Christians in Australia face an increasingly hostile culture, and many of the people featured in this telethon have faced professional sanction, job loss, and even legal action for exercising what should be fundamental rights: freedom of religion and freedom of speech.
The Human Rights Law Alliance exists to defend these freedoms and to help ordinary people from all walks of life to navigate these threats.
Tune in on the 25th of March for the Defending Democracy Telethon where you can hear directly from some of the courageous people from Australia and beyond who have faced persecution simply for speaking the truth or practicing their faith
Billboard Chris (Chris Elston) headlines the featured interviews, but you will also hear from HRLA clients Jasmine Sussex, Lyle Shelton, Dr Jillian Spencer, and Dr Jereth Kok. Also featured are renowned advocates, politicians and media contributors who champion the freedom to live and speak the truth in Australia.
Sign up here to receive HRLA updates. We will email details of the Telethon before Tuesday night.
