Samuel Griffith Society Conference 2025
The Samuel Griffith Society was established in 1992 to educate Australians about the Constitution, support rigorous legal research, and defend the great virtues of our current constitutional arrangements.
Each year, the Society hosts a prestigious national conference that brings together leaders in law, politics and public life for serious and stimulating discussion of constitutional issues.
The 2025 Samuel Griffith Society Conference will be held at the Ritz-Carlton in Perth from Friday 22 August to Sunday 24 August. This year’s line-up of speakers includes:
- Professor James Allan, Garrick Professor of Law at UQ
- The Honourable Richard Court AC, former Premier of Western Australia
- The Honourable Nicholas Hasluck AM KC, former WA Supreme Court Justice
- The Honourable Dyson Heydon KC, former High Court Justice
- The Honourable Christian Porter, former Attorney-General of Australia
- The Honourable John Snaden, Federal Court Justice
- The Honourable Amanda Stoker MP, Queensland Assistant Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment and Training of Queensland
Whether you’re a law student, a practising lawyer, or simply passionate about constitutional integrity and the rule of law, this is a conference not to be missed.
