Dr Spencer - Stood down after a complaint about her treatment of children with gender dysphoria.

Dr Jillian Spencer, Child Psychiatrist expressed a conscientious objection to Queensland Children’s Hospital’s gender affirmation model.

Despite Jillian having more than 20 years’ experience as a medical practitioner and over ten as a specialist child psychiatrist, she was stood down from clinical duties following a complaint about her treatment of children with gender dysphoria.

“My obligation to my employer to keep the harm to children secret clashes with my obligation and responsibility as a psychiatrist to speak our when the care being delivered to children isn’t safe and isn’t evidence-based,” said Dr Spencer.
