Donation Policy

Human Rights Law Alliance (HRLA) works to provide assistance, advice and advocacy to ordinary Australians under attack for living out their faith and convictions in public.

High profile cases of religious freedom are becoming more frequent, but for each one of these there are countless everyday Australians paying an unfair price for living out their faith in the public square. We accept donations from everyday Australians that want to support our work.

We are driven by you, not business, a union, a religious organisation or any other community organisation. We are not a political party and are not aligned to any – we are truly independent.

We are a charity organisation; we don’t receive funding from any government.

When you support HRLA, you're empowering Australians in the fight for religious freedom.

Your donation makes our movement stronger, we believe every Australian should have the right to live out their faith and convictions in public.

Human Rights Law Alliance is deeply committed to the rule of law, together with enabling greater freedom via donations from everyday Australians.

However, there are some businesses from whom we don’t accept donations due to our principles, mission and core values across the country.

By donating to Human Rights Law Alliance, donors confirm they understand that:

  1. The donation is not tax deductible;
  2. The funds being donated are not being provided to HRLA by another person or entity, unless otherwise specified;
  3. HRLA reserves the right to refund any donations they are not willing to accept.
